JoAnn Yee brings over 15 years
of real estate experience to Avalon Realty LLC and 19 years of
development background to Avalon Development Company LLC.
She manages the operations of
Avalon Realty LLC specializing in sales of company-owned property and
is building the general brokerage business working with buyers and
sellers of residential properties. She also manages various commercial
and residential development projects for Avalon Development Company
LLC.
Mrs. Yee's experience includes
employment with A&B Properties, Inc. for properties on Maui, Kauai
and Oahu. She was A&B's broker-in-charge of the Maui office. Her
experience at A&B included sales of company-owned properties,
project and association management, project sales and marketing and
customer and warranty service. Prior to her employment with A&B she
was employed at Castle & Cooke, Inc.
Mrs. Yee is very active in the
building industry and non-profit community. She served as Awards Chair
of the Sales & Marketing Council for the Building Industry of
Hawaii for three years and for nine years served on various Parade of
Homes committees. She served on the Advisory Board of The Leukemia and
Lymphoma Society, Hawaii Chapter for three years and currently serves
on the Advisory Committee of the U. S. Vets. She participates in
various fund-raising activities for non-profit corporations such as
Kamehameha Lions Club and Kailua Elks Club.
JoAnn
is currently a member of the Kamehameha Lion's Club, Kailua Elks Club
and City & County of Honolulu Toastmasters Club. She was voted 2010
Toastmaster of the Year and has served as Secretary and President of
that organization. She is
currently Vice President of Education.
She
is a licensed sales broker and a member of The Honolulu Board of
Realtors. She was nominated for Aloha Aina Realtor Award in 2011 and
2012.
She has been a member in the
past of the Building Industry of Hawaii, Sales & Marketing Council
of the Building Industry of Hawaii, Ltd., and served on the Parade of
Homes Committee for many years.
She belonged to the Certified Commercial Investment Managers
Association. Her non-profit service includes the Leukemia Society, U.S.
Vets and volunteer work with the elderly.
